Service Delivery Model

The speech department utilizes a 3:1 service delivery model, which consists of setting aside three weeks of each month for direct intervention with students, and one week of each month for indirect services, such as meetings, testing, observations, and consultation with staff. The rationale for this service delivery model is that it increases consultation to parents, teachers, and other specialists; provides greater support to students in the general education classroom; allows for greater coordination between the classroom, related service, and home; and allows for fewer missed therapy sessions.

The weeks designated for consultant/indirect services for the 2015-2016 school year are as follows:
