I am having problems with my computer what do I do?

R- Reboot the laptop and see if that solves the issue
C- Check the time If a computer get so
low on power it can lose the time causing problems. Make sure the battery is
charged. If your computer time is off and you are in school please go to the library and connect to the rescue network. It will correct the time.
S-SMC reset-
The laptops using the magnetic (Mag safe ) chargers
- Shut down the laptop
- Press the Shift, Control, Option and power buttons (four buttons) at least 10 seconds
The laptops using the USB-C chargers
- Shut down the laptop
- Press the Shift, Control, and Option buttons for 7 seconds
- While still holding down these buttons, press the power button as well for an additional 7 seconds
D-Document problem- Be very detailed in describing the problem and send to: [email protected] If you are unable to access your email please report the problem to the main office who will notify technology on your behalf.
What if my computer is damaged?
Please take the device to the library where you will be given a replacement device until the other is repaired and returned to you.

Can I change my password?
MAC- While logged in under your current password select Preferences under the Apple logo in the upper left corner of your screen. Select Users and Groups and follow the steps. Remember your password need to be 8 characters long with at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter
PC- While logged in under your current password press Control/Alt/Delete and select "Change a password" and follow the steps. Remember your password need to be 8 characters long with at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter.

Can I bring my own laptop/mobile device to school?
Permission must be granted by the principal and when prompted use your school login credentials to join the network under the Student network.
