Advanced math is an introductory in Calculus, which is the mathematics of change and motion.  Topics covered in the course include limits, derivatives, integration, applications of calculus, and transcendental functions. 

A year of calculus is an ideal culmination of a high school mathematics program for exceptional students.  It calls on the skills and information acquired in previous years and applies them to problems that are inherently interesting.

This course will prepare you to take the Advanced Placement exam.  A high score on this exam may result in college credit.  However, the power to grant credit rests with the college and universities.  The Advanced Placement Exam is MANDATORY!
