The Rhinebeck Central School District is continuing a Pre-K program in the 2026-2027 school year. To be eligible, the following is required
- The parent/guardian and child must reside in the Rhinebeck Central School District
- The child must be 4 years old on/before December 1, 2026
Applications for the Pre-K program lottery will be accepted until February 14th at 3pm. The lottery will be conducted on Wednesday, April 22nd. The 2026-2027 Pre-K program is contingent upon Board of Education budget approval.

The Pre-K program is run by Rhinebeck Community Nursery School at Chancellor Livingston Elementary School and aligns with the school district calendar. Please be advised that District transportation will not be provided for the program.

8:30 am - 2:30 pm
Registration Process
For those selected via the lottery, the deadline to submit your registration packet is May 30, 2026. If your registration packet is not received by May 30, 2026, your child’s placement in the Pre-K program will be given to the next child on the waiting list.
