Rhinebeck School District Updates Information for Submitting School Budget/BOE Vote Ballots Before 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2020
The Rhinebeck Central School District urges all voters to submit their absentee ballots to be received by the school district no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, as required by Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order. For those who haven’t done so, we suggest dropping off the ballot envelope for mailing at the US Post Office on Route 9 in the center of the Village of Rhinebeck, NY, next to the Beekman Arms.
In addition, the District will have a ballot box available for those who need to drop off their ballots in person for the June 9 Budget Vote and BOE election. The ballot box will be available at the District Office, at 45 North Park Road, Rhinebeck, NY. The outside entrance to the District Office is in the upper (student) parking lot, located at the top of the outside stairs to the right of the loading dock, at the door closest to the track, from 8 am to 4 pm on both Friday, June 5th, and Monday, June 8th. On Tuesday, June 9, it will be accessible from 8 am to 5 pm.
Whether you choose to mail your ballot in the return envelope provided OR to drop it off in person, your ballot MUST be received by June 9 no later than 5 pm to be included in the vote tally. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the District Clerk, Whitney Druker, at 845-871-5520 ext. 5522.
