RHS Announces its 2018 Valedictorian and Salutatorian
The faculty of Rhinebeck High School is proud to announce the Class of 2018 valedictorian and salutatorian, Rachel Pietrow and Talia Goldman, respectively.
Valedictorian Rachel Pietrow has been the Co-President of the Gender Equity Club for the past two years and is the Vice President of the National Honor Society. She is a member of the Model UN club, and last year was a member of the Rhinebeck contingent which travelled to Bogota, Colombia to attend the 16th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates. Ms. Pietrow has been a member of the Rhinebeck Crew team for the past four years, and has volunteered at the Starr Library during her high school career.
Ms. Pietrow is the daughter of Paul and Catherine Pietrow of Rhinebeck, and she will attend Smith College in the fall.
Salutatorian Talia Goldman has been the Co-President of the Gender Equity club for the past two years, and she has been a coxswain for the Rhinebeck Crew Team for the past four years.
Ms. Goldman is the daughter of Ron Goldman and Julia Eilenberg of Rhinebeck, and she will attend Barnard College at Columbia University in the fall.
