District Outlines Recent Changes to Emergency Closing Day "Take Back" Schedule Impacting Spring Break Week - March 26-30, 2018
Through the cooperation of the Rhinebeck Teachers Association (RTA), the Association of Non Instructional Employees (ANIE), the Rhinebeck Administrators Association (RAA), and the Rhinebeck Central School District Board of Education, Monday March 26, 2018 and Tuesday, March 27, 2018, have been scheduled as the two “take-back” days resulting from the use of a sixth and a seventh emergency closing day thus far this year. These days have been scheduled as Superintendents Conference Days for teachers, non-instructional staff, and administrators.
Therefore, as of today, Monday, March 19, 2018, unless another emergency closing day is needed later this week, students WILL NOT be in session from March 26th through March 30th. Teachers, non-instructional staff, and administrators will be required to be in attendance on Monday, March 26th and on Tuesday, March 27th unless otherwise excused.
HOWEVER, IF an additional emergency closing day is required to be used this week (March 19-23, 2018), STUDENTS, teachers, non-instructional staff, and administrators WILL BE in session on Monday, March 26th, and Tuesday, March 27 and Wednesday, March 28 will be scheduled as Superintendents Conference Days for teachers, non-instructional staff, and administrators.
