The Community Coalition for Rhinebeck Youth, in Collaboration with the Rhinebeck & Red Hook PTSOs, Invites You to Save the Date

The film examines systemic pressures on children and families and is a call to mobilize parents, educators, and policy makers to challenge current assumptions on how to best prepare our youth to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens. Tens of thousands of people have come together nationally, using the film as the centerpiece for raising awareness, changing the national dialogue on education and galvanizing change.Please join the discussion – bring your ideas, questions, and open mind.

For over 30 years, the Parent Teacher Student Organization of the Rhinebeck Central School District has played an integral part of supporting our student body with an enriched learning experience. The Rhinebeck Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) supports the Rhinebeck Central School District in many ways. This year, the PTSO has planed many activities and fundraisers planned that will enhance our schools and allow us the financial means to carry out new ideas. The PTSO supports many programs such as “Arts in Education”, provides the elementary with after-school programs, and funds numerous grants submitted by teachers. We hope you will join and become a partner in your child’s education.

We sincerely hope you’ll join us by volunteering and supporting the many activities that we have planned for this year. The PTSO works with teachers to develop fun and rewarding programs, to supply needed classroom items as well as to fund numerous out-of-school learning experiences. Much of what we provide is beyond the reach of the school budget. Our teachers and students have benefited greatly from the work and dedication of the PTSO. We hope you’ll help us in continuing this mission. If you are new to the school district, we extend a special welcome to you. We are excited to have you and your children here, and hope that you feel at home in no time at all.

- Basic Membership Level requires minimum annual donation of $10.00 and entitles you to receive a copy of the PTSO School Directory, which includes complete class lists, addresses and phone numbers as well as other pertinent information. The directory will be mailed to your home.

- Hawk membership Level requires a minimum annual donation of $35.00 and entitles you to receive a copy of the PTSO School Directory. In addition, you'll receive a Rhinebeck Discount Card (see below for more details) and a Rhinebeck card decal.

We encourage you to consider a larger donation, or a monthly recurring donation. All donations will go directly towards helping provide your children with the best educational opportunities possible. You can join online by clicking the button below:

We'd prefer it if you could join online, but if you choose not to please return your membership form and your check (payable to the Rhinebeck PTSO) to the school in an envelope marked “PTSO Membership" or drop them off at one of the open houses. Note that the addresses and phone numbers printed in the PTSO directory come from school records, not the PTSO membership forms, therefore, if your address or phone number is incorrect in the directory, please call the school office to make the necessary correction.

Order Extra Directories

Your membership entitles you to one copy of the Rhinebeck PTSO Directory, but if you would like to order more directories, click the button below. Each directory costs $10, and it will be mailed to your shortly after your payment is received.

Rhinebeck Discount Card

This year we are offering the popular Rhinebeck Discount Card, which allows you to receive significant discounts at local Rhinebeck (and surrounding area) retailers, restaurants and grocery stores. The cards are $15, and make a great gift item. You can purchase the card by clicking on the button below:

The Rhinebeck Discount Card gives you year-long discounts at 22 local retailers, restaurants and stores including Adams, Bread Alone, Rhinebeck Health Foods, Stickles, the Bagel Shop, and many more. This year we’ve added 9 new discounts, and 95% of the proceeds from this fundraiser go directly toward your children’s educational experience!

The cards cost $15, and make a great gift item. You can purchase them when you join the PTSO (using the membership form), on our website (www. rhinebeckcsd.org/ptso) at an Open House, or at Bread Alone in Rhinebeck (anytime during the year).
