CLS PE Department

Run Across America

During the Physical Education classes, the students will virtually cross the country on foot by running 5 minutes in the beginning of their class every other week. We will track the total distance run and calculate it to see what United States cities can be reached. The Common Core Learning Standards and Social Studies will be integrated into this campaign when applicable.

The students will also be competing against CLS staff members who are wearing pedometers every day to track their steps while teaching -- 1) Mr. Yarnell, 2) Mr. Edson, 3) Mr. King, and 4) CLS Staff (group of 30 staff).
