School Budget


The 2010-11 Rhinebeck Central School budget was approved by the District's voters on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. A total of 1,261 votes were cast on the budget proposition. 779 votes were tallied in favor of the budget, with 482 "No" votes registered. The budget featured a 2.1% budget-to-budget increase, the lowest since the 1993-94 school year, resulting in a tax levy increase of 3.99%.

In addition, incumbents Karen Hatter (902 votes), Paul Slayton (892 votes), and Laurie Rich (846 votes) were re-elected for another three year term beginning July 1, 2010.

The Board of Education again would like to thank all those community members who participated in this year's annual budget vote and Board member election process.
