Model UN: will meet today after school in Room 104.  New members are welcome!

 

Registration for the October 14th PSAT: will take place in the HS Guidance Office now through Oct. 6th.  Test fee $16.  Cash or check payable to RCSD. Please see your Guidance Counselor with any questions.

TODAY - Union College 8:30, Manhattanville College 9:28,Quinnipiac University 10:30

WPI 1:00. Tuesday, 9/26 - Vanderbilt University 8:30, The College of St Rose 9:15, Hobart & William Smith College 1:30. Wednesday, 9/27 -Mount St Mary College 11:45. Thursday, 9/28 - University of Connecticut 12:30. Please see Guidance for a pass.

 

Community Service: If you are available to help spread mulch for community service please see Mr. Jutton.

 

Tues. 9/26:

Choir Club: will meet on Tuesday after school from 2:40 - 3:15.  The choir club is essentially an after school rock band. Come join us if you play an instrument or sing. We are looking for guitarists, bass players and drummers. You do not have to be in choir to join the choir club. See Mrs. Lalicki with questions or ideas.

 

French Club: meets after school in Room 107 Tuesday. All are welcome.       

 

GSA: is meeting in Room 147 after school on 9/26. All are welcome!

 

Interested in applying for National Honor Society: Informational meetings in room 146. On Tuesday (9/26) 7:30 am and 2:45 pm. You MUST attend one of these meetings if you plan to apply to NHS. Please see Mrs. Bie in room 146 with any questions.

 

LOOKING AHEAD

Peer Mentors: We will meet after school on Wednesday in the Guidance Suite to discuss a few new mentoring opportunities. Please attend if you can. Check your email for more details.

 

Are you interested in volunteering to tutor students at CLS through Rhinebeck’s Culture Connect Program? Attend an informational meeting Wedesnday after school in Guidance Suite to learn more about the program. See Mrs. Rodier with questions.

Drama Club: will meet Thursday, 9/28 in Room 151. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Mrs. Baer and give her your email information.

 

Environmental Club: will be meeting on Thursday 9/28 in room 126 after school!  New members are welcome! Come with ideas of activities we could do this year!

 

Do YOU Drive to School or want to?: In order to park on school grounds you must have attended the CAPE Teen Driving program. There will be a program- Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Arlington High School. Registration begins at 6:15 pm. *Student must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. See Ms. V in the main office for information.

 

Environmental Tip of the week- The weather is beautiful outside! Bike or walk to school and reduce your carbon foot print!
