Dear Veterans,

We will be having our annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the Bulkeley

Middle School on Thursday, November 9th at 9:30 am. A continental breakfast for veterans and guests will be held at 8:30 a.m. We would like to have the students honor relatives/ancestors who served in the United States Armed Forces on that day.

To facilitate submitting veteran names to be honored, a questionnaire will be available on the Rhinebeck Central School website in September.  Go to www.Rhinebeckcsd.org, click on Bulkeley School and lastly BMS Veterans Day appearing in the left hand column.

Due to time constraints only veterans in attendance and those considered immediate family members will be announced. All veteran names submitted will be placed on the Wall of Honor in our school. Students, who may not have a veteran in the immediate family, may choose a family friend, or we will have names of veterans from the community who would like to be remembered.

If you would like a picture of your veteran included in a special presentation, please attach the photo in an e-mail to Rbloomer@Rhinebeckcsd.org or include a photo in an envelope with the student and veteran’s names on it and place it in Mrs. Bloomer’s box. The photo will be returned within a few days of receiving it.

Any further questions please contact the school at 871-5500, ext. 5218.

                                                                                   Thank you,

                                                                                    Mrs. Bloomer
