¨ Acceptance of Minutes:

The corrected meeting minutes of October 30, 2003 were distributed and approved.

The meeting minutes of November 19, 2003 were approved.

¨ Students Signing Out During the School Day:

Mr. Robert Heywood, a Rhinebeck High School Guidance Counselor, was introduced and thanked for his attendance. He gave an overview of the scheduling process, course selection process and graduation requirements.

Discussion followed on a variety of issues:

- Students Plans

- Elective Courses

- Open Campus

- Closed Campus

- Lounge vs. Study Hall

- Driver Education

- Possibility of improving and broadening the elective courses

The BLPT has agreed to pursue the concept of a closed RHS campus, and all the ramifications that need to be addressed for this concept.

¨ There was a discussion regarding the BOCES program and how their instruction impacts our programming.

¨ Next meeting will be February 5, 2004 at 4:30 PM in the school library.
