Welcome to Bulkeley Middle School for the 2007-2008 school year! We opened our doors on Thursday, September 6 and began a successful first week of school. While the summer provided me with much needed time to prepare for the upcoming school year, I always enjoy the excitement and anticipation that accompanies the start of a new school year. As I met and spoke with incoming students I couldn’t help but be impressed with the lack of anxiety and fear that often typifies the first day of school. The planning, effort, and genuine concern on behalf of the faculty and staff provided both a positive transition into the school year and served as a reminder of how fortunate I am to be part of such a committed and talented team.
